We are thinking of doign the sand ceremony with FH's 2 children. I have been looking for a container for the sand and haven't found what I would like. I have found some that come with 2 vases to hold the sand and then a larger container to pour in to; The problem is I would like there to be a lid on this container. When it gets transported and handled I don't want the sand moving around. Also, most of the containers I've seen have a very small mouth on the jar and that will be hard for kids to pour into.
I was thinking I would have to move to a Mason Jar or Jam Jar or something with a wider mouth and a lid, but none seem pretty enough. I also then have to find 4 smaller containers to put the colored sand in for us to use...
Where did you get yours?
