Brides Against Breast Cancer

Any one going to the gown sale today? I'm thinking about going tomorrow, but undecided!

I went today, but didn't want to pay for a ticket so went right at 12pm. I personally thought it was a little dissapointing. I will say there were quite a few gowns, I'm looking for a particular style of dress and only saw 2 that I thought were worth trying on. It seemed to me that a lot of the dresses were in rough shape. However, I did see two girls purchase dresses.

I went to the one in Houston and it was fine. I thought the dresses looked good. That's odd that the Austin one was so different.

I know, they did say they sold quite a few dresses early this morning. I did only look at the dresses around my size - everything from size 10 to 16; a lot of the dresses needed to be cleaned and some of the ones with beading had areas that would need to be fixed. Most of the dresses I looked at seemed to be in the 500+ range, the nicer ones on the couture rack were around 1000.
