When is it recommended, as in how many months out? I am not having bridals done.

Im just going off the top of my head but im pretty sure if you arent doing bridals they say to give yourself at least 2 months for fittings. Im a little OCD about making sure my dress is ready on time so I will probably have my first fitting at around 3-4 months out. HTH

Grr.. haha.. I am about 2 months out now. Oh well.. I have an appointment on Wed to have it done. Guess I better stay the same size.

I have my first fitting this weekend which is a little more than two months away from my wedding. I think TK checklist says you should have your first one about six weeks out from your wedding, the next one at about a month out, and the final one either 1-2 weeks out. 

Of course, I'm sure it varies from person to person depending on the dress and the alterations needed. Let's just say that when I called the seamstress she was extremely happy that I was ready to come in so far in advance.

Yeah I agree with PP that most seamstress' will be happier the earlier you come in that way they can take their time and not rush. WOW I cant believe youre already that close to your wedding BBNT! And through all this I missed the one G2G with yall. Im sooo sad but super happy your date is getting so close.

Yep we get married on Aug 13th! Seems like forever but we are finally getting there. Did you see the post with all the questions brides don't think to ask?? The one about no shoes is getting everyone all riled up. LOL

Speaking of which.. Do you want to go ahead and prelim say that you will watch the board for me that weekend and coulple days after?

Ohhh goodness.. the boards lit up with this one. Here is the link... I think it is funny to see how offended people get with the unspoken rules. (No one has to follow any of them.. so I don't see why it gets the raise out of everyone. ) LOL

Also, I edited my RSVP ticker and my countdown ticker, so that it is on the forums now.

OMG really we are that crazy over shoes!!!!! I mean what in the world!?! LOL that is way to funny! I cant believe that worked them up like that. Im not having typical white wedding shoes but I didnt feel the need to go CRAZY on the posts!!! I guess to each his own. BTW I am totally LOVING your ticker. We are huge football fans so I feel in love with the one I have but yours has got to be the cutest ive seen on here!
