Writing on personalized items

My fiance & I have yet to set a date for our wedding.  We are having an out-of-town wedding & has been a bit of a challenge to tour venues and coordinate with the church.  I want to order personalized napkins and such, but since we don't have a date, is it OK to leave off the date of our wedding on personalized items?

    I think so... Just put your name and or get a monogram made for it. It is your wedding.. you can do whatever you like, even if you want to put a huge picture of your face on the napkins!
