austin cover bands?

hi! Im a newbie on the knot and I have been struggling with finding a band for our reception in September at Cimarron Hills Country Club. The wedding is over ACL fest weekend so I am hoping we can still find a cover band that can play a variety of tunes, oldies and modern music! So far I have come across the band Sauce and they are amazing but pretty pricey! If anyone knows of any bands in the austin area i'd love to here about them!!

    Welcome to the boards!! :)

    If you can't find anyone in Austin, there are plenty of people who would probably drive from San Antonio to do it. You might try looking there. :)

    ya i've seen a few bands from san antonio on bookaband.com.  any particular band suggestions?

    I personally haven't heard any of the bands in the area. We are going with a DJ. Sorry.. but you can always post in the lcoal SA board to see if anyone there has a suggestion.

    Radiostar...they are fabulous. Mostly 80's cover but they can do pretty much anything. They are really wonderful. And they travel. Contact them. You won't regret it!
