Cakes by Rosemary

For anyone here who has used her or is planning on using her:

Did you taste the flavors of your cake or just the vanilla that she gave you at the tasting.  I loved her cake, very most and great flavor.  And her price is amazing.  My only hold up is that my FI wants a chocolate and peanut butter layer which she said she could do but I'm nervous about having not tried that flavor.  What do you think?

She is doing my cake and the chocolate is really good. I'm doing a mousse filling and the fondant icing.  You might want to ask her to tell you when she makes a chocolate cake and then you can pick up a sample. that's what I did and it made me feel so much better and yes the price rocks!

Hello!  I also was a little disappointed when we first did our tasting, since I was expecting to taste several different flavors she had to offer, or at least the red velvet I had told her I wanted to do for our main cake.  Her price was so wonderful and I let her know I would need to taste a couple of different flavors we were interested in before making my final decision.  She made small sample cakes for us to try, and they were AMAZING :)

We are going with Red Velvet with cream cheese filling, white chocolate cake with bavarian cream filling and chocoloate cake with triple chocolate mousse filling -- all with the amazing satin ice fondant :)

I'm sure if you share your concerns with her, she'd be more than glad to provide you with a sample.  I think it's pretty standard practice for them to provide you with a sample of what you're buying, so it isn't out of the ordinary to ask.
