Blue Sparrow Photography

Well well.. hello again Vendor. I am going to remind you of the Knot rules once again.

Wedding professionals involved in a wedding-related enterprise cannot post any information on The Knot message boards, even if offering services free of charge

No soliciting of any kind on the message boards or in the chat room -- it is neither allowed nor appreciated by the community. If you are interested in advertising opportunities, please contact [email protected]

No impersonating any person, including, but not limited to, other community members or employees of The Knot.

Here is the thing--- we know when a Vendor is coming on to the board, because you always post about the same services. You don't offer any conversation other that what you are trying to sell. You have posted in nearly every Texas board you can, to promote your business.

And the brides notice-- they don't like it, so you are not likely to generate profits by being a sneaky vendor. You will have better marketing profits on Craigslist, where you are not violating any terms by posting. The down side? You will have to compete with other people, where unlike here you are using this as a clear platform to try and convince brides to unfairly use your services. I suggest you do the responsible business choice to not post on here again.. because I will always find you. Vendors are easy to spot.

Think about it-- you already have a negative image to every bride on this board because we asked you to leave already.
Kindly stop infiltrating and pretending to be people you are not.

Thank you!
The Austin Moderator.

    Everyone Please Read This-
This is Karly the owner of Blue Sparrow Photography.  I did post an ad on the message board a few days ago.  I quickly received a post saying that vendors are not allowed to advertise on the boards.  I had not read the rules before doing so and quickly replied with an apology!  I do not wish to upset any brides!!!!! At this point I thought everything was ok.
However, this morning I received a very rude and hateful email from a bride saying I was trying to cheat the system.  I responded that I had not tried to cheat the system and had apologized for posting an ad.  I then received another email from this bride saying I was posting multiple responses and pushing my site.
When I got this email I came back onto the website to see what she was talking about.  There are a number of posts on the boards under an account named "Booted".  THIS IS NOT ME!  I do not know why someone is posting those things or if it is from the "hateful bride" that emailed me, but I am not responsible for those posts and do not want my reputation ruined because someone got upset that I posted an ad!
To the Moderator, please remove my company name from your board as it is a false accusation and is slander.
To whoever is posting those replies, please stop you are not making a point!Thank you.

giddy - first and foremost, learn to spell.  second, babyblue definitely represents me.  i don't come on this board to read bizarre rants such as yours or weed through sly vendors who compensate for a lack of talent with lying and scheming.  if blue sparrow is all that, she’ll find plenty of business through legitimate means.  she has been made aware of the knot rules multiple times.

    This 100%.

Posing as a bride and mentioning only your business is against what these boards are for.  I appreciate reading unbiased reviews from other brides but I don't appreciate people coming to these boards to misrepresent themselves in order to drum up business.

Considering she had only one post-- guessing that was her again.

A simple mistake would have been her posting an outright ad for her business on the boards. It's annoying, but could be deemed a mistake as it is understandable that she might have not read all the terms of service for the site.  However, for her to pose as a bride and endorse her own business without stating that the business was her own is not a mistake, it's a pre-planned lie.

Agreed Kelsey-- I have notified all the Moderators on our Mod board to keep a look out for her coming back.

I asked her politely not to post a couple days ago, and when I tracked her in other rooms, she was told the same thing by other Brides. She has been told that Vendors can not post, and then she came back to do it again.

Considering the person that posted again was from LA and had no other posts, I am guessing it was her again.
