Anima Strings - or any other budget friendly ceremony musicians

Has anyone used Anima Strings for their ceremony musicians? I found a recommendation for them on this board from a while back. I've e-mailed back and forth with the contact on Anima Strings' website a little bit but she's been pretty slow to respond. Anyone have any good/bad experiences with them?

I'm looking for a very reasonable ceremony musician for an outside ceremony...$200 or less. Anyone have any other recommendations within my budget?

Thanks!

I think if you are flexible with what you want (like just a harp instead of a string quartet) then you shouldnt have a problem finding musicians in your budget. I am using Hill Country Strings (http://www.hillcountrystrings.com/rates.html). I got quite a bit off of my quote since I am having a week-day wedding so that might help as well. I have also heard really good things about Lake Austin Strings (http://www.lakeaustinstrings.com/prices.php)

If you really can't go above $200 then I would check to see if a music student at UT or St. Edwards would be willing to do it. I bet they would do it a lot closer to your budget.

We had Stephen Bright (Cathedral Guitar) for our Sunday evening wedding...which was outside.  He was wonderful.  Although he typically plays classical music, we gave him a list of songs we wanted, including Priscilla Ahn and Amos Lee, and he learned them for us.  He was within your budget...we did a little bargaining and it worked. I highly recommend him.
