Invitations?

I hope everyone is having a great time with family!  I was wondering where everyone got their invitations?

We made ours but we used paper and material from http://www.paper-source.com. I got ideas under their "How-to & Workshops" link.

We bought the kits you can buy from Target and did them ourselves and they turned out awesome and were super cheap!

I worked with a freelance designer to combine elements of various invites  into a unique design for us.  No picking styles out of a big book or anything - and she was a fraction of the cost of most sites out there! I highly recommend this route - (I used Jen Crawford - metzcrawford@hotmail.com if interested!)

I do a lot of work on photoshop, so I've already designed our invites. Now, we're going to order pockets from www.cardsandpockets.com, get the invites and inserts printed locally, and assemble them ourselves.

I worked with Alissa at Mew Paper Arts and had an AMAZING experience.  She's super sweet and easy to work with.  She has invites already designed or you can work with her to create something else.  I really felt like we got a good value and she always had great ideas.

We're making our own! With the availability of kick-booty printers, there's no reason  you can't do it yourself if you're looking to save some dough!  We plan on buying high quality/weighted paper from a crafts store, having kinkos professional cut them and print them.  We'll probably had some simple ribbon accents, but other than that... that's it!  I love simplicity and to save money!

I'm late on this thread, but Wedding Paper Divas is great. We ordered our invitations out there and they weren't the cheapest, but they were cheaper than local stores. Plus, if you plan ahead you can take advantage of their frequent deals (free shipping, percent off, $50 off a $200 purchase, etc) www.weddingpaperdivas.com

I loved our matching invitations, response cards, and thank you notes, but I saw a DIY invitation kit at Michael's for a fraction of the cost. I know Target comes up a lot for DIY kits, but Michael's, JoAnn Fabric, and Costco also sell invitation kits that are worth checking out.
