Over a year ago, we paid for a beautiful wedding venue for my daughter's wedding which was set for June 15, 2012. Unfortunately, things did not work out, and my daughter called off her wedding just recently, leaving us with the paid-for venue. The place is Texas Old Town, located in Kyle, Texas, Sage Hall. Texas Old Town graciously allowed us to change the date to August 24, 2012, to give us some time to sell it ourselves, and I think there is a very good chance they will let the date be changed again to accomodate the new renters. We paid $3500 for the rental, but I will sell it for $800 off that price, for a total of $2700. Texas Old Town has frequent advertisements in The Knot, and their website address is:
