I have a friend who is engaged and I wanted to reccomend the Knot to her since it was so helpful when I was planning my own wedding...but I've noticed that the Austin Board is really slow compared to what is was 'back in the day'. So, where else do you guys go online to post and talk with other brides and where are you finiding your info for venues, dress shops, photogs, cakes, etc.? TIA!

    I've been hitting up E, my month board, and snarky brides...It's pretty empty here.

    The only reason this board is slow is because we had a lot of December brides, and also because of the holidays. People tend to slow the wedding planning down. It will pipe back up as Feb comes around with all the new engagments happening. :)

    I know what your talking about, when I was planning my wedding (9-25-10) I was always looking at this board for advice and suggestions for months before. It got so slow towards the end, I just started talking to the girls on my month board. And if it was a local question, I just found the answer online myself.
