Out of state minister (Austin)

Hi, everyone!

We've asked my cousin to marry us and while he is a licensed minister in PA, I've been trying to double check whether or not it is legal to have an out of state minister marry us in TX. Does anyone know if this would be a problem?

    I would think he would need to be licensed in Texas, but i'm not sure. Maybe try calling your local Justice of the Peace and asking them.

    He just needs to be ordained, and register as an officiant with the County Clerk, from what I read.
