This board has been very dead as of late. I feel as if we need some action. So I am wondering who all is lurking on this board. I know many people are from out of town. I am. Also I am the first to have a wedding. Help and advice is always appreciated.

Have you Had your wedding already?
What Vendors did you have for what (ex: She-n-He photography)?
Is there advice that you would give other brides?

If you aren't married what have you gotten done so far?
Is there something that you need some help with (ex:making a day of timeline)?

    Have you Had your wedding already? No
    If you aren't married what have you gotten done so far? We have our venue. It is a package that includes linens, cheese crackers, fruit, coffee, tea, punch, napkins, plates, utensils and a room for the first night as a married couple. We also have our photographer.
    Is there something that you need some help with? Is there someone or someplace that can help us find an officiate and help us decide what kind of ceremony we want?

    If you aren't married what have you gotten done so far? Dress, invites, bridesmaid dresses, tuxes, venue, linens, cake, veil, save the dates, officiant, photographer, florist, DJ, make up, hair, wedding party gifts, guest book, escort cards, rehearsal dinner, wedding bands... pretty much everything!
    Is there something that you need some help with? I don't think so, but I can definitely provide vendor recs soon!

    I agree this board is not as active as the past but I have recently been posting mainly on the monthly board.

    If you aren't married what have you gotten done so far? I'm not as organized as I should be but I think I have most of my vendors booked.
    Venue - DONE, includes catering
    Florist - DONE
    Photography - DONE
    Officiant - DONE
    Coordinator - DONE
    Honeymoon - DONE
    Hair and Makeup and Manis/Pedis - DONE

    Is there something that you need some help with (ex:making a day of timeline)?
    The only thing left (I think):
    Menu tasting
    Invitations
    Possibly upgrading chairs and linens
    Finalizing Rehearsal dinner plans

    I think that's it for now. My coordinator will ck on me from time to time and we will work through the checklist and timeline details day of.

    Well both of you look like you are right were you need to be for when your weddings are. Thank goodness I still have time. Who did you two pick for the cake? I have been looking around for a good baker for our cakes.

    This board has been dead! When I joined a year ago there were soooo many brides-to-be. I think I'm the last one from that time period left! Glad lurkers are jumping out of the woodworks though :)

    Hello everyone!!  I'm planning my Austin wedding long distance.  My wedding will be in November 2010.  There's still so much to do!!

    These are the vendors I've secured: 

    Venue: DONE

    Rentals: DONE

    Catering: DONE

    Photography: DONE

    Cake: DONE

    Hotel Blocks for guests:  DONE

     

    What do you need help with?

    Finding an officiant and a make-up artist/hair person.

    Hi Ladies!  I have been lurking for awhile on this board, but this inspired me to make an actual post and introduce myself.  I live in Dallas but we are getting married in Austin on 5.29.2011 (still a year away!).

    - Rehearsal dinner venue
    - Photographer
    - Band
    - Dress
    - Hotel blocks

    Today is exactly 4 months to my wedding (9.25.10)!! Time has been flying bye.
    These are things I have done:
    Venue
    DJ
    Bartenders
    Photographer
    Dress
    Cake
    The things I still need are:
    Caterer (i have a testing set up, so i'm pretty sure that is almost done)
    florist (i got a qoute but it was way to expensive)

    I have 6 wks left until july but 9 wks left until my wedding date (7/25/10)

    my shoes and my jr brides shoes

    Well Hello Misty! Glad you finally came out of hiding. :) Welcome!

    Kelsey- I completely spaced that there was a post fairly recently with that sort of thing. I know I read it at some point. I can be such a space cadet. :p

    I have most things done already (7.10.10)  I am still needing an officiant, cake and linens.. any ideas?
