Wording for Reception only invites?

I need help on wording for the invitations!! I know it's going to upset some people, but the venue isn't big enough and this is both of our 2nd weddings. So we want a very small intimate ceremony and big party later that night.

Any ideas for the wording for the reception only invites?

You can try looking at the Etiquette board for suggestions, but the most common approach for this is to simply make your general invitation for the reception only, and then insert small cards into the invitation inviting those select guests to the private ceremony. Your invites could say the following "BRIDES PARENTS invite you to share in their joy at the wedding reception honoring the marriage uniting BRIDE and GROOM, son of GROOMS PARENTS, on DATE at TIME" and then put the name and address of the reception hall on the bottom of the invite. Or your names, if you are hosting... something along those lines. An insert card can read "Please join us for a private wedding ceremony to precede the reception."
