Well, I guess I'm all about early because my wedding is in September and my first bridal shower is in the beginning of June and my Bachelorette party will be the beginning of July. I just wanted to pick dates when the most people would be able to attend, apparently the summer was easier for everyone. I dont think anything is toooo early, it's better than waiting until right before your wedding when you're too busy and overwhelmed to enjoy it! Just my two cents. :)

I second amanda's thoughts... I'm two months out and we are having two parties this month.  You have some much going on as the wedding gets closer (or maybe that's just me and my procrastination??).  Also, I wish we would have had the parties further apart...  It's not that I don't love the peeps I'm going to see, but I would have rather "spread the love" across more time.  Then, everyone wouldn't feel that the month of April is being dedicated to me and my wedding stuff.  I think it's important that the hosts get to pick a day that works well for them.  Good luck and enjoy!

I just had mine the 27th - wedding is the 24th of this month. I think a month or two before the wedding is just fine. If that's when it's most convenient for the people you want to come to be there then that is the best time!
