My father passed away nine years ago. He was such a wonderful man and I miss him more and more every day. It has been very hard to not have him at two of my brothers weddings and miss the birth of all of his grandchildren. Now with my wedding coming up, I feel it is going to be especially hard, with me being the only girl out of four children.
I have run into a few decisions that I am having trouble deciding on:
1) I have three brothers, two of them we would like involved but we don't want a huge wedding party, do I have both as groomsmen? Do I have the one giving me away be a groomsman and the other an usher? Do I have one just give me away and the other be a groomsman?
2) Then for the reception, I would like to have a dance in rememberance of my dad with my brothers, mother, and I. The different ideas I had were: 1) have a dance with just my three brothers and I, 2) have a dance with my two brothers & their wives, my mother and other brother, and me and my husband.
