black and white wedding

my daughter is getting married next March...she would like a black and white wedding - wants to you the preety black and white "damask" pattern with altenating black on tables. Anyone know where we can but or rent for cheap.  Anyone using this theme that would like to seel their stuff after they use it?  Trying to plan ahead!  :)

I used black/blue/damask for my wedding. I rented most my linens from Marquee. They had the damask pattern for overlays and runners as well. HTH!

Some of the vendors offer 50% off coupons during the local bridal shows. I picked up one at the Bridal Extravanga and used it on table clothes and napkins. You have time - you can probably wait until the next one - which I think is in June?

Check out the weddingbee.com classifieds - they normally have a lot of ads for damask stuff to buy/rent.

Not table linens, but Michaels carries the Brides line of invitations, programs, thank-you's, etc. and has a very pretty B&W damask pattern.  You could save a lot by buying invitations there and printing them yourself (or at a print shop) and they'd go very nicely with the theme.

Also, Austin's World of Rentals has a linen sale every January, so you could rent linens there for cheap.  I also remember Platinum Linens, an online store based in Austin, had a lot of damask.

hi! Those are my colors (along with red) and I am getting married in a couple of weeks. We rented some overlays... our venue is providing the table linens. This week Hobby Lobby has all the wedding stuff 50% off and they have some really cute damask stuff!!! (Sign book, flower girl basket and sign pen). One suggestion I received from our venue and florist... is to make get uniformity. They both said that in pictures when you try to "alternate" white and black.. it look slike polka dots in pictures. I kept that in mind and went with black linens all around with white overlays. (Just wanted to mention that) :)

    good luck!
