bride/father in law song?

My father passed away and I will be dancing with my father-in-law at the wedding. Any suggestions on songs? country would be best.

Re: bride/father in law song?

  • I don't listen to a ton of country, but I've always liked "I hope you dance" by Lee Ann Womack.  Try creating a Pandora station with a contry artist you like and maybe something will come up that you haven't though of...?

I agree with this, as I don't listen to country either. There may be some country songs listed on the Internet for father daughter dances. That may help give you a good start.

  • I did a wedding a few weeks ago and the bride danced with her brother to "Holes in the Floor of Heaven" in honor of their parents who had passed. The whole place was in tears! If you're not looking for a "memorial" song, try Rascal Flatts "My Wish." Good luck!
  • I think "my wish" is perfect, thank you!
