Lakeway Resort Wedding

I am getting married at Lakeway Resort in March 2011.  For any of those who have had their wedding here or are going to....Do you have any decoration tips for the ballroom?  Did you or are you going to have professional lighting?  I am trying to decide if pinpoint lighting on all the tables is necessary or if a few colored lights along the walls would be enough.  I only wanted to spend a few hundred on lighting and pinpoint lighting adds up.  Any tips are welcome...Thank You!

We are getting married at Lakeway next month and are having pinspots & uplighting - I think it makes the ballroom look absolutely amazing!  We're using D&H, they are priced competitively and have been great to work with.  We also reached out to the in-house Lakeway lighting and Ilios.  I'd be happy to share pics if you're interested in seeing how it all turns out

I have seen a few pictures and the lighting really makes the ballroom look amazing! I have contacted D&H and Illios lighting.  So far, D&H is the only one that has contacted me and given me a quote.  I would really appreciate it if you could post pictures.  That is so exciting that your wedding is in one month...I hope you enjoy every minute of it!!

I'm also using Rachel!  We had our tasting at Lakeway yesterday and had Rachel there to do a walkthrough of everything... I already know she is going to be such a stress-saver!  She was awesome to have there because she knew what questions to ask, knew what to look for, etc.

Hilda from D&H was also able to meet us out at Lakeway to do a final walkthrough of lighting.  She's been really great and I highly recommend her & Daniel - they are very service oriented which makes a huge difference in my opinion  It was good to have Rachel there for that meeting as well, so she will be able to map out the floor plan and send to D&H for us (for the pinspots).
