So yesterday I had a tasting with Southern's Fine Dining in Austin. The Head Chef is Chef Steve, and he prepared almost the entire menu that we are going to have at our wedding. Originally we wanted to go with a strictly BBQ menu, but I am so glad that we didn't. We chose to do half tex-mex and half BBQ, and the results were fantastic. Chef Steve made his own chips and salsa, which were better than any restaurant I have been to.. and I lived in San Antonio for the past 5 years! All of the food was very flavorful, and moderatly priced considering the amount of food that you get. We priced BBQ restaurants which would have been a bare menu, and going with a catering company, we are getting so many pluses added on. A few of the benefits:

and they clean up after themselves.
Overall we are very happy-- and if you need someone to cater, I am recommending to contact Chef Steve--- you will love his food.
