Affordable string music during ceremony?

A few months back I saw a post on the boards about one of the colleges (UT maybe?) having a group of students that does string music for wedding ceremonies.

Can anyone provide me with the info? If you know of anyone else that is affordable I'd appreciate that info as well.

Thanks!

Yes it is Sarinda String Quartet that you are probably talking about. They are a group of students from Texas State. Very affordable! :)

Sarinda Strings are really good - they played at my best friends wedding. They filled the church with beautiful music. They were 20 minutes late and everyone was a bit worried, but it turned out great. I think she would still recommend them.

Sarinda Strings played for my 9.12.09 wedding. They showed up 15 minutes after the ceremony was supposed to begin, meaning they didn't play their promised 20 minutes of prelude music and our wedding started late. They did not sound very good and they played the wrong exit song.

I booked them based on recommendations on theknot, but I would not recommend them. They are affordable, but unfortunately, you get less than you pay for.
