I'm needing info on sales/clearnace events in and around the area, or Dallas, Houtson, San Antonio. Or if you know of mailing/email list I can get on to be notified of up coming events.

I would register at some of the websites that feature particular designer lines that you are interested in, as well as places like David's Bridal, Alfred Angelo, etc.  Sometimes the designer websites will include an option of locations across the country where their lines are sold.

Then, I'd call or email various bridal dress stores to see if they have an email mailing list that could notify you of coming sales, trunk shows, etc.

I know Unbridaled is having a sample sale Jan 28-30th and just announced thier trunk show dates for jan - may. I got on thier mailing list at the store but think they have a Facbook page and blog/website you can sign up on. Same goes for most shops - just find them online and sign up or e-mail them to be added to thier mailing lists.

This isn't a sale per say, but if you are looking to save money on your dress, I highly (HIGHLY!!) recommend Pearl's Place. They are located in New Orleans, LA but they carry most of the major lines so you can go to a local bridal shop and try on your dress and then order from them. I fell in love with a Watters gown at an Austin bridal shop but simply couldn't afford it. I ordered it from Pearl's Place for $700 less than what the store in Austin wanted. They shipped it to me in less than a month. (They are original dresses, not knock-offs or anything. They just order direct from the designer and there is no "bridal store experience" so they can charge so much less.)
