I got the invite today the 23rd of July. Everyone is suppose to be at the resort on the 19th of August. I hope people still come to the wedding. Love my friend, but if she would have been a knottie she would have known this is a huge no-no! I sent my invites out 6weeks and 3 days before the RSVP date, and I thought I was pushing it. RSVP date is Aug. 12th. That's like in no time. Is it wrong of me to think some destination brides don't get it?

    She should've sent them out ages ago!  You're right, some destination....no, some brides period just don't get it!!  Just like some brides cough*DH'scousin*cough who, 3 months after their wedding still haven't sent out their TY cards--never mind the shower was 4 months ago!  But anywho, yeah, your friend should've been a little more on top of things!

    Didn't she at least send STD's so people knew it was coming since it's a destination wedding? Anyway, at least people won't have time to lose their rsvp card, they can just put it right in the mail! I mailed mine exactly one month before they were due back to me and I still think people put them aside and forget about them.....shorter response time might be the key. ;o)
