hair/makeup?

Where are you ladies getting your hair and makeup done? I was going to go with my normal salon (Salon Zen), but found out recently that the girl that has always done my hair there only comes in on random Saturdays now and my wedding is on a Friday. I am also looking into Hollywood Glam Salon, but the price for their package has gone up since they first opened so I'm open to any suggestions that may be a little cheaper. TIA!

    The owner of the The Oxford Spa Salon 411 N. Bryant, Edmond, OK is doing my hair and make-up tomorrow for my Bridal photos. I don't know the cost because it was in my photo package but I will let you know tomorrow how that works out.

    I used Hollywood Glam for mine. I wasn't upset with them, but I wasn't particularly impressed either.  My bridesmaids esentially ended up doing half of their own makeup, and one had to redo her own hair at the church since it fell out on the 15 min drive over.

    I'm doing my own make-up, but all the girls and I are getting our hair done at The Look on Saturday. (119th and S. Penn). Stacy Lopez is doing mine....she's one of the best, and very fast!

    I had mine done at the Forgue Design Group off Western and I want to say 41st. I LOVED LOVED LOVED my hair. A girl named Andi did it, I would definitely recommend her! It was $45 for my updo, and they have bare minerals makeup there that is free to do. I didn't use their makeup as one of my BM wanted to do it, but I would have it that had been the case.

    I'm doing my own makeup becuase that's my baby. I havent decided if I will do my BM's makeup or not, they want me to but I think that morning may be crazy enough as it is. My aunt is a hairdresser so she will be coming in to do my hair before the wedding.

    Hi!  I am a bride to be as well as a hairstylist/makeup artist.  My salon is Forgue Design Group at NW 41st and Western.  We have done many weddings in the metro area.  There are several of us that can work with large wedding parties, I am also willing to come to you if need be.  Please feel free to message me with any questions you may have!  Or you can call our salon 525-9384!

    Just an update Janee’ The Oxford Spa Salon did a great job. Amy did my hair which is naturally curly and made it look great. Janee' did my make-up and it looked awesome. I can't post pics because I want to keep my bridals on the DL. We shot at the Scottish Rite Temple in Guthrie and it was like an oven. My makeup stayed on the entire time with sweat running down my cheeks. Janee' was on location with us and  was super help with posing the photos. She said the make-up would stay on even in 20 minutes of running water which I did not believe until I went home and decided to take a bath to relax. I was in the tub for a long time and had washed my face with just water and a rag several times during the bath and when I got out it looked like I had not touched it.
