okbride.com show in Stillwater

Did anyone go to the okbride show in Stillwater today?  FI and I got up early to make arrangements to make it up there today b/c we will be out of town when they have the one in OKC.  we drive 1.5 hrs from Norman.  we were completely let down!!  On their website they list A LOT of exhibitors (http://okbride.com/exhibitors.html?ActiveCategories.SelectedCategory.ID=4291), but they only had 33 booths, and about 5 of the vendors had 2 booths.  so really there were about 25-30 vendors.  not even 1/2 of what was listed online!!!!  the "fashion show" which was to start at 2:00pm started early, and was so short, it was over before 2:00pm.  it was horrible.  the models looked uncomfortable and didn't seem like they knew what to do.  I feel completely ripped off!ok, enough of the rant, you can see I'm upset with the waste of time, money, gas, miles, etc.so my question is...  are they ALL like this?  was this one just particularly bad?  is this one organization bad or was it just the location (stillwater vs OKC)?I plan to go to the Runaway bride one (different organization puts it on), but now I'm worried...

No, they aren't always like that. Sorry you got ripped off like that...I'd email them tell them about your disappointment and what not, giving them your honest opinion about it all! Maybe they'll get their act together and next it'll be much better...When is this Runaway bride one? And where is it?

yeah, i have already started drafting an email to them.  I normally do not do that kind of stuff...but it was just soooo bad, and we paid to get in and drove 3 hours total for it.The Runaway Bridal Show is Sunday, Sept 20th from 1-5pm at Remington Park in OKC.  http://www.specialeventsoklahoma.com/calendar/index.cfm?page=events_by_seoI cannot find a vendor list, but I found out about this show through our photographer.

I had heard from several people that that bridal show was going to be a lot smaller than the one they're putting in OKC. I'm a BM in a friends weddings and she wanted to go, but I told her it would probably be better to wait until OKC.When I was planning my wedding I went to one and they had a lot of vendors there. It was CRAZY with how many people went. (I went really close to the beginning, I wish I had gone much later in the day).

I was a hair model for a salon at a show last year in OKC, and it was huge!  It was put on by the same group who did the Stillwater show.  I went to the show in Stillwater too, hoping for the same thing - lots of vendors.  I felt disappointed too.  I did decide that it was probably that small because of the location.  The big upside was that I did some thrift store shopping while I was there and found some items I can use at my reception.  But yeah, I felt kind of let down too.Originally I went to the Stillwater show because I wasn't going to be able to make the show on the 27th in OKC.  Luckily, plans have changed, and I get to go to it.I hope you get to make it to the other show!
