It might be appropriate for me to go first! I live in NW OKC I am a true nerd - I love the lists involved with planning - and yes - I will do something and then ADD it to the list (if needed) so I can cross it off! The money it costs FI and I are cohabitating, but money is always tight. I want to splurge on us, I want to do right by everyone - but we are ready to make this a done deal. We will marry at "The Center" here in OKC on Oct 6, 2012. FI is 40, I am 38, we were both married more than a decade each previously. We both have son that just graduated high school, we both have 12 yr olds (he a daughter, I have another son) from those first marriages. He also has a 5 yr old from an in-between relationship. I think he is kind, protective and loving. He thinks I am the best thing that ever happened to him, he loves my family, and loves my son (my 12 yr old lives with us). I never dreamt I would have a second chance, much less a Prince Charmng! Your turn!

What is your favorite part of wedding planning? I like getting the samples in the mail

Least favorite? Money...

We're set to get married early next September, though we haven't officially locked down a date yet.  The venue will be our Catholic church here in Tulsa, St. Mary's.  My fiance and I met freshman year of college and started dating.  Now that we're graduated, we're working towards getting married and eventually getting a house together here.  We have a furbaby-his name is Chauncey and he's a 2 year old schnauzer.

What is your favorite part of wedding planning?   I like looking through sites and magazines for new ideas.

Least favorite? worrying about money..

We're getting married September 22, 2012 at Creekside Chapel in Edmond.  I'm 30, he's 27.  Neither of us have been married before and neither of us have children.  We have two large dogs that we treat like our kids.  We are taking our honeymoon in Florida and we are very excited to see the beach!

Favorite Part? Seeing things come together. I love actually getting things for the wedding. Invitations came in last week and I couldn't have been more giddy.

Least Favorite: Oooo...toss up between waiting and money. A lot of wedding stuff I'm ordering online and I am not a patient person, so waiting for things sucks. and of course money. I was unemployed for a month a few months ago and that put us a little behind budget because I didn't have the money to be making payments on some of the vendors.

We are getting married January 5, 2013. FI and I are high school sweethearts. We've been together for about 9 years now. We're also having a catholic service, but we're getting married at St. Bernard's in south Tulsa. I'm having a hard time believing that the wedding is so close and yet so far away. 4 months. But I could not be more excited. We're having a big wedding (invite list is 250 people :-S) but I am confident it will be a great time for all. I'm excited to see what Oklahoma weather will bring for my wedding. It will be 2 days before my parents 29th wedding anniversary and on their wedding day in Tulsa, it was 70 and sunny, so we'll see.

What is your favorite part of wedding planning? I have become such a DIY person with this wedding! I have made so many different things from our aisle runner, to the flower girl baskets, to signs, favors, my creative side is comming out and I love it!!

Least favorite? Money has been the last month but before that it was really the waiting! I wish now I had planned for sooner than what we had but now less than a month to go its flying by!!

Your venue: The Festivities Event Center In El Reno, OK! (the old post office) Outdoor wedding indoor reception!!
You and FI : He is my best friend, the father of my child, and completly my other half. He works super hard for our family he works for the oilfield and also is in the army! He has been married once before but now we are thankful for all the bad things that we went through because of them happening we got to meet and now were getting married in almost 3 weeks EKKKK!!!

We're getting hitched May 15, 2013 at a cabin in Davis, OK near Turner Falls!

My guy's name is Tyler, we both met our freshman year at OU.  We started our Junior year, and are finally graduating this May, and our wedding date is one week later! (scary!)
