Can my something borrowed also be my something old?

Ok so my grandma has a peral necklace that my great grandmother never wore. My great ma got it from my great pa as a christmas gift. They got into an arguement over  it (the necklace) and she decided to never wear it. Just thought I would fill yall in on why she never wore it. So my question is, my grandma has offered to let me wear it and I was wondering if I could use it as my borrowed and old since I really dont have anything else borrowed or old?

You can, for sure.  There's no hard and fast rule.

We'd love to see a picture of it (hint hint) we love shiny pretty things around here!  :-)
