  Who is/did pay for your wedding?

FI and I planned to pay for everything, but my parents stepped in and offered to help, so we're about 50/50. They may be paying a bit more...which is nice, because if they hadn't, we'd probably be having a much smaller event.

We searched the internet to find out "who pays for what" and went off of that
My parents are paying for the venues, dresses, food, etc
FI's mom is paying for the rehersal dinner, tux, flowers, etc
However I"m paying for the photographer (since I choose not to use my uncle)
and FI is paying for the honeymoon

I'm lucky and blessed, my parents are paying for everything.

We just went over this last week lol.  My parents are paying for the majority of it.  My FI parent's are paying for the tuxs, the rehearsal dinner, and the bar at the reception.  We are paying for the honeymoon!

We are.  Both of my parents have been dead for a few yearsnow , so maybe my viewpoint is biased, but I can't imagine my parents paying for my expenses in any way.

My parents paid for the majority of the wedding.  Sean and I paid for some things, like the ties, the deposit for the photographer, all the little things I needed from Hobby Lobby.  Sean's parents paid for the rehearsal dinner, and I'm pretty sure my grandma paid for our flowers from the florist.

FI and I are paying for just about everything. I've asked his parents to pay for the reception dinner and my parents to pay for the open bar, so we'll see if that pans out... They're both in a position to help, but neither has offered anything specific.
