Cheap Photog?

I need a photographer.

I'm not interested in any prints. I just want a digital media (of some sort) of high-res images, copyright free.  Edited images would be nice, but it is what it is... I'm not terrible at editing myself...

Point being, I literally know NO ONE in OKC that's been married recently, and I don't really have any family friends who are or can reccomend a photographer...

I'm looking ot spend less than a thousand dollars... (humor me)

So tell me who you used... (or are using) ... how much? ... what do you get from them? ... Any Advice?

    Here are a few relatively inexpensive photogs who I've looked at
    John Huntington    /> I email both of this and they were willing to
    Paul Houston         />customize packages to help get the cost down.

    FI isn't being very cooperative about helping pick a photographer so we haven't booked one yet but I really like these 3. I think they're all at or below $1500.

      We used Linsey Stafford.  She was great.  We did not have to buy prints from her, but we got the edited flashdrive of all of our pictures.
      Our package was $700 and that included Engagement Pictures (with CD) and 4 and a half hours of coverage on the day.

    Kat Adams photog is a newer one but young, honest, and very creative. She did my friend's wedding and hopefully will do my rock the dress session.

    I would really recommend Ryan Bell!  We are using him.  It is $900 for 4 hours coverage, and you get all images.  We added an engagement session for $100. Our wedding is in April.  He and his wife work together.  So far I really like him! ryanbellphotography.com

    Try Fire & Nice Photography out of OKC, for 2012 the it's $500 for a wedding coverage from getting ready, ceremony, to recpetion with all edited pictures on a disc and print release.  Check out the Facebook page!

    Juniper Photography is who we used.  Robyn Icks is her name.  She's young and fun and sweet and really reasonably priced.

    I am looking to photograph a wedding for my portfolio. I am a portrait photographer who is breaking into the wedding business. My work is modern with a twist of vintage. You will get all edited images on CD all free. Even if you have a photographer, I would love to still come photograph. Thanks!
