Tulsa venues...

So, our preliminary guest list looks like it will be around 300.  Yikes!  More than we thought, but it's been cut as far as any of us can bear to cut.  They are all people that either FI or I really want there, plus a few from our parents.  Now I need to start trying to find an affordable ($1000 max), indoor venue that will hold 300 AND allow outside catering (the catering thing is not negotiable).  The church fellowship hall won't even hold that many.  Any ideas?  Needs to include space for a buffet meal and be within Tulsa city limits.  I'm afraid...

We have picked the Venue of the Greenwood Cultural Center it holds up to between 700-1000 people if you rent the entire hall for $1700 or for them to split the room for 300 banquet style sitting it is $950. They allow outside catering and also provided us with a list of people they recommend, they have a full kitchen the caters are able to use. They do have a website but my suggestion is to go up and view it or call for the information which they can email you. We are having our wedding and reception there and its going to cost us a lot less then many other places with a lot more ability to do our own thing. Hope this helps!

Bridle Creek Lodge It holds exactly 300 and has extra room for food (if your doing food). It's technically in Sperry, but it's right outside Tulsa. The have no problem with outside catering. S-F it's $495 from 8-3pm or $900 somthing for 6-midnight. AND they include tables and chairs that they set up. If your looking for a saturday wedding though there price jumps ALOT.

I really wanted German American Society, as we have family ties there, but they are too small with our buffet.  I think, knowing our guests, Sapulpa and Sperry are too far to drive, especially with gas prices like they are.  I liked The Broadway, but it is too small.  I like Stokely, but my mom doesn't (and she's paying).  We go to a ton of events at the PAC, and honestly, I think it's ugly, plus I'm there so much that it really isn't special.  Hadn't thought of Greenwood, I might check that out.  I didn't know it was that reasonable. Tulsa Garden Center was too expensive last time I checked.  I haven't been impressed with the Event Center, plus I really want somewhere we can have to ourselves and not share (and I'm willing to pay for that privilege).  I don't want to risk sharing with a convention or concert or something (another reason I'm not hot on the PAC).  Wedding will definitely be on a Saturday, but we're willing to consider lunch rather than dinner, so hopefully that will save money.
