Ceremony question

So we are (hopefully) having an outside wedding.  I would like to include my favorite song from church. Would that be strange? And if I do that at what point in the ceremony should it go?

    I think that's a great idea,  Would you want to have someone sing it? or it played over the sound system?  I believe songs are usually done prior to vows, like when you would have someone read a poem or scripture!! I hope that helps!!
