New Jersey - South

**Wyndham Mount Laurel**

A few months ago we booked our room block (I definitely think we'll have like 50 rooms) at hte Wyndham in Moutn Laurel.

My Fiance and I were in South Jersey back in July and decided to take a swing by the hotel  (we booked it without visiting it).

The woman (more like  a girl) at the reception desk was soooooo freakin rude.  She was rude to us and then to an actual guest.  Another person, maybe he was the assistant manager, then gave us a tour of the facility.. it was nice.

The elevator was a bit ghetto..the layout is a bit weird,  but the room was pretty decent.

Anyone have reviews? raves or rants about this hotel?

The big draw for the Wyndham is the free shuttle... But the more I think about it, the more I feel the free shuttle may not accomodate all of my guests....

I was just there the other day actually... the Sales Manager is VERY nice (Her name is Stacy if you want to try dealing with her for better results.) We saw a few different rooms and got what looks to be a great rate compared to the other hotels in the area. (We checked the Marriot for a block of 15 rooms like we got at Wyndham and they were 30 dollars more a room!) We are going to rent a ballroom the day of the wedding for the bridal party to get ready in and do a brunch for everyone so I have all sorts of information on menus and pricing if you want it... I'm surprised you had such a bad experience there based on when we went but different staff can definitely account for that. One thing we did like - they have a bar/lounge that stays open until 2am upon request so we're going to do that for an after party at the hotel!

I have found the people there to be very nice thus far. No complaints. I worked with Stacy too for the booking of the room but the people there were nice when we went to see it too.

I booked the Wyndham too without visitng...I may go in there this week...MissChristineC, why is the shuttle not enough for your guests (I remember you and I have about the same number)...don't they give you the shuttle for an hour? Good post! I didn't even think of the hotel!

Stacy has been wonderful to work with and I think Dawn (hope that's her name) was easy to work with for my nextday brunch booking.

I already know there is another the same day as me on Jan 15 @ The Merion.  It's earlier than mine, but NOT that much earier. I want to ensure that all of my guests get there on-time.  Does anyone know how much earlier guests can arrive?
The shuttle will have to make multple trips.. I'm a bit of a control freak with coordination (that's why I have a DOC). I also dont want people waiting around at the end of the night, maybe they can start picking up at 11pm thru midnight...

Guess Sue and Cliff will be getting an email from me this week! ;)

From what Stephanie told me the shuttle can run from an hour earlier than your scheduled start time until half an hour after you've started and then at the end of the night an hour before the night is over... They also told me at the hotel the other day that if necessary, we can also book a second shuttle for an extra hour for a fee (I think it was $40 or something like that.)

I was told the shuttle will run for 2 hours prior and 2 ours after the wedding and you can dictate the times you want it to run.  We even picked some weird time like 5:15 to 7:15 for the shuttle to start and they were fine with it.  So far, I've had a good experience with them also

Thanks for the feedback too! We also have a large wedding so a second shuttle, especially for 40 dollars, would be insanely great!
MissChristine, we were told that it would be okay for guests to arrive a bit early; they will be allowed in the cocktail room

Hi! So I asked Stacy about extra shuttles for a charge and she gave us the names to limo companies saying the hotel has only one shuttle...what did they tell you rangergirl? Does anybody have any suggestions for companies bc their shuttle is 14 passengers and we will need something else in addition to that! Thanks!
