Hello--I've started looking at invitations and was hoping to get some recommendations from you ladies.  My most promising lead so far is weddingpaperdivas.com.  I like their selection and the website is super easy to use.  Any suggestions for other websites you like.  I'm also interested in anyone who has used local shops b/c I don't even know where to start.  Budget is approx $1,000 all-in (invites, response cards, etc) Thanks!!!

I looked online as well but was skeptical about a few things. I went to simply inviting in collingswood, there selection was ok but wasn't what I was looking for and I thought they were over priced. I also spoke with Joanne from Invitations by Joanne and looked at American Wedding.

I decided to go with a local vendor out of Delanco. You can meet with her and go through all of her books. He prices were so great compared to all the other ones. The same invite we liked in the store was almost $350 less going through her. We just ordered them last weekend and are so happy with our selection. I used www.bridalandbabyexpressions.com I was really happy with them, and loved everything about my invitations.  I had pocketfold invites, with a response and reception card.  I'm pretty sure I paid about $375 for 120 invites.  I got great feedback- someone even asked me if I had any extras left over so that she could share it with her neice!

I just got mine in the mail today and I went through invitationsbydawn.com It was super easy to use online and they have a huge selection. I bought mine for around $300 and that included 125 invitations with envelopes, reception + response cards. My fiance was able to find a coupon online that took about $60 off the price. It took about two weeks for them to come in and they look great. I just got them, but so far, so good!

I used Invitations by Joanne in Turnersville. She does it out of her house but she has a huge selection. And she gives 25% off the retail price of everything. I ordered 150 invitations including response cards, reception cards, envelopes and everything and spent around $340 or so. She was great to work with and very helpful in picking out which invitations to get.

I used Simply Inviting in Collingswood and the owner does give a discount.  My invites were about $300 for 100 invitations, envelopes, reception, and response cards and all had the return address printed on them.  You can preview the invites on the website, and get a bigger discount if you order online.

If you are looking for online-only invites, I think a lot of girls have success with Alaun By Design.

I just got my invites from WeddingPaperDivas, and LOVE  them!  They are just what I wanted!  The site was easy to use, and they have great customer service.  And you will have them within 10 days of ordering.  I also loved that you can order samples for $1.00 each, with no shipping charge.  When you do, they include a coupon with them that you can use for your order.

I purchased my invitations from The American Wedding (www.theamericanwedding.com) and was quite pleased with the quality and especially the price!  If you go on www.retailmenot.com, you can find coupon codes for tons of wedding invitation websites.  I only spent $180 for 100 invitations, reply cards, and thank you notes.  HTH and GL!

I went to Etsy.com for my invitations. Take a look on there, so many people can do a custom invitation for you and do it for alot cheaper than what most places would do. If anyone needs the name of who i used I'd be glad to recommend her. She sent me a free example in the mail of my invitation when all the details were done and then i ordered them! I love paper products and I think invitations are the first thing people see when your wedding is coming. I wanted mine to be custom, but I also didnt have the money that some of the stationary stores I went to.

Alot of people also will just do a design for you and then you can get it printed where you want...

I also used Joanne in Turnersville and she was so nice to work with and very accomodating. 125 invites with all the inserts and such and 125 save the dates costs around $450.

I used Wedding Paper Divas. The invitations look amazing. I have gotten so many compliments on them. The style I chose was Classic Roses.

I actually went to my local Sir Speedy. I got a few recommendations from friends so I went there. I was very impressed with how many books they had to look through. I tried to get samples online, but it was a lot easier to just see everything all at once and the price was very reasonable. Good luck!

I did our invitations on our home computer.  At first, the printer was giving us a little trouble, but my FI worked it out.  We bought the invites at Michaels on sale for 19.99. BUt I had to grab another box of the reception cards because i messed up. That was an additional $10.00. The total cost of 50 invitations was $30.00.  

Our invites are very light in weight so I brought it into work to check on postage.... it's only .44 cents!!  Excellent... I can use regular stamps... not the .60 cent ones.  Hey... every penny counts. I bought the .44 Wedding stamps.  very cool!  The total cost of stamps was $62.00.  We are mailng them out tomorrow. wohoo!!   

Oh yea, just an FYI... there are 2 styles of stamps out there for wedding invites..... .60 cent (has a pix of a wedding cake) for the actual invitation envelope (usually oversized & has more weight); and .44 cent (pix of wedding bands) for the response card envelopes.

also, the post office has .44 cent stamps that say "celebrate" or something...that's what I used for my response cards.

I also used an Etsy seller, who also has her own website - I wanted something unique and they DEF are.  I LOVE them!

She custom made everything from the fonts, colors, envelopes - (but it was based on a listing she had previously created).  She mailed a sample to make sure we loved them and to make any changes we wanted.  The quality is great and her responsiveness couldn't be better.  Highly recommend her.
