So my mom picked out this nice dress with silver sparkles all over the top, but it is a black dress, i think she looks great in it but my monster in law is throwing a fit to me how my mom shouldn't wear black to a wedding. It's not a spite choice, its simply what she loved best and I agreed. Did anyone elses mom wear black, or do you think its a wedding no no?

    I personally am really against black at the wedding... our traditions (eastern European) you wear black to the funeral and never to a wedding... I told all close to me that I will really appreciate if they would not wear black
