Music at the Wedding

Which is best live singing at the ceremony or just  play music?

Personally I think singing or just having a singer takes some attention away from the bride but that might just be me.

I prefer live instrumental musicians, but recorded singers. I've been to too many weddings with off-key singers that are distracting.

I prefer DJs to live music, because they're more predictable and have a larger selection. But it's really down to personal preference.

I think it's everyone's preference but i prefer a dj. The dj's I looked at have music collections of 75-150,000 songs. What band has THAT in their repertoire? I like that dj's can basically play any song out there. to each their own, though

For the ceremony, I prefer live music if it's good.  Mediocre live music makes me cringe and laugh at the same time, not something you want at your wedding!

For the reception, I mostly see DJs, but I don't mind a band if they're really, really good and play music that most people know.
