Sand Ceremony

Hey has anyone ever done the sand ceremony? or thinking about doing it? Ive been looking for sands in different colors....

    we're doing it, using sand from my childhood beach and silt from the stream behind his aunt's house. if you're looking for colored sand, i saw some today at michaels, i would imagine they sell it at most craft stores.

    I will be.... Our Wedding isn't until May, 2010, and it will be on the beach, so of course, a sand ceremony is the way to go.  :)  As the day gets closer, I will check out Michaels Crafts for the supplies.   Did you mail "Save the Date" magnets out???   I'm thinking about it, but since we are having a small wedding, I'm not sure if it is really necessary (and like everyone else, we are on a budget). I just thought it is a cute idea!! :)
