FI and I are in charge of getting plates, napkins, cups, drinks and dessert. Someone suggested to us to just get a cake to make the dessert easier. Well our question is, do we get something written on the cake? If so, what? I've never noticed their being a cake at a RD. I'm thinking if it was traditional style the grooms parents may get a cake that say Good Luck or something. FI and I thought maybe we would write Thank You. I don't know, I have no clue!
