Confused about Handkerchiefs...

I was going to get these for both sets of parents as part of their gifts, BUT the sayings all are signed just by the bride...so is this weird, since it would still technically be a gift from both of us?I.E. - "Dad, to remember the day you gave me away, Love pumpkinseed" or "Thank you for raising your son to be the man of my dreams, Love pumpkinseed" You wouldn't sign either other of them with pumpkinseed & FI...that would sound dumb, correct?Does anyone else have different phrases that they have used/seen?

    I'm getting one for my FMIL that says..."You've made my wedding planning a living hell,I've wanted to elope more times than I'd like to tell,It's a really good thing I love your son as much as I do,Cause that's the only thing keeping me from hitting you with my red shoe"Brings a tear to my eye!

    I gave one to my mom. And DH gave one to his. I thought it was nice to do separately, but I guess it could be a joint gift.I can't exactly remember what the saying was, but it wasn't overly cheesy.. I kept it short and sweet.
