Engagement gift ideas?

Hi! This might sound like a funny question coming from a recent bride....lol. I have a close friend who is getting engaged soon and I would like to get the happy couple a gift. However, this is her second marriage, she has a lot of stuff, and I do not think they plan to do the whole 'big wedding' thing again, and therefore the standard engagement gifts I am thinking of would not really be appropriate. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks for the help!!

    A gift certificate to a BYOB and a nice bottle of wine.

    I second what Diana said-going out to dinner is always nice! :-) Also, I don't know how much you are looking to spend, but a gift certificate to a Bed & Breakfast is always good too!

    I thought of something that someone did for my sister... They got a big wine box.. and you get different wine for their marriage. Its like 5 of them One for the first year....and so on.. Its like this **A mixed case of wine can give newlyweds years of memories.*** Ill have to find the paper with everything.. email me if you would like it cbuckley8 at comcast dot net
