Trash the dress shoot

Hi Girls!  I did a TTD session this past wknd and had a blast.  I really didnt trash my dress just got a little wet.  My photog was amazing!  check it outhttp://www.lauraleighphoto.com/blog/

    That is NOT a TTD session. It looks like an engagement session in your wedding gown. Pretty nice picts though.

    Didnt really ask if it was a TTD session or not, but thanks for your input Eatonpoosay.Bunchy...you will have so much fun.  I wasnt going to have my hubby there but decided to do have him in the pics.  I think some knotties said suggested to have him in the pics.  Glad I did!!  Good luck w ur wedding!

    Apparrently you haven't seen most of the TTD sessions b/c that is one.....it's a more laid back photo session wearing your gown not literally trashing it most of us are too smart to destroy a gown we spent ALOT of money on

    I'm not saying her pictures aren't nice. They are. I'm just saying they are typical pictures any photographer would have taken on the wedding day. I guess none of you know what real TTD sessions look like.

    So I've been watching this thread and really wanted to just stay out of it...but I can't.First, Lin, the photos look great, I love them!Eaton- I understand it's your opinion, and you could be right, but there is a much nicer way to express it.  For example, you could have said, the pictures look great, but I always though TTD was something different like.....  However, your comments came off as offensive without any basis!  It appeared as though you were attacking Lin861 for no reason.  Don't you see that?  Your comments were unnecessarily negative.  The girls on this board, are fun, nice and supportive.  If you wanted to draw her attention to the fact that her session wasn't a TTD from your perspective and/or understanding, you went about it in the wrong way and therefore you must understand why the girls on here are defending and/or supporting Lin and accept the perception that your comments were unnecessarily (and may unintentiionally) negative and inappropriate!

    PP well said. To me that is a TTD I would NEVER expose my dress to the beach or the ocean on my actual wedding day unless eveything was over. TTD means something different to each bride as it should be. We are all individuals. The pictures are beautiful.

    I wanna know what trash the dress shoots you've been looking at b/c they are very similar to ALL the ones I've seen.  I've maybe seen on photographer that did a trash the dress shoot that involved paint and to me that's just a little extreme.   I don't think TTD was ever meant to literally trash the dress, it's just suppose to be a more laid back photo shoot which is what it was

    Thanks girls!! It was so much fun.  Took me a few days to get rid of all the sand in and on my dress!! lol
