Crunch time...

So this week is nuts! I do not know how I am going to be the week of my wedding haha.. My engagement Party is saturday, we are trying to get everything done earlier so we wont be going to crazy. But now im going crazy lol! Luckily i have a break tomorrow Rachael ray!! I will let you all know how it goes! How did you all make it through the craziness? Any tricks?

    I hope you have a great party this weekend! Ours was last weekend and eventho the weather wasn't the best at least it wasn't raining when our guests showed up. We had about 70 ppl in our house and it worked out great, I was really surprised. I used all the help I could get, family members volunteering and friends.  They were so amazing and helped out tremendously! We also have taken this whole week to relax that has really been helping. GL with everything :)

    Don't stress...the engagment party is the EASY part!!!  Now the wedding will make you go crazy :)  Have a great time and enjoy it

    Christie just ask for help when you need it. Make a list may it be a long one but put everything on it and take advantage of the lul in the middle of the planning. If you are a DIY bride start early it's never too early (unless t's an edible thing). I was fairly stress free because I over planned and it worked to my advantage and I was allways trying to do things early. That is my advice. On the engagement party be sure to take pictures I don't have one of me and my mom from the E-party and it upsets me. Relax and have fun...oh and you have much longer to plan the wedding remember.

    I agree with the start early comment...I get laughed at b/c I'm ahead on everything but now at 3 months out I'm sitting back and relaxing.  I finished all of my favors, invites, programs, menus, bridal party gifts, parents gifts, bathroom baskets, photo share cards and any other little thing I could. As of now the only thing I have left to do is dress alterations and place cards and then just final meetings with vendors.  All those people who joked with me about being too ahead of the game now say I'm the calmest bride. If you can get it done do it and best of luck!! Oh and a little tid bit....be really strict with you guest list :) This is where I had the most issues, I made the mistake of just asking for each set of parents list instead of giving a limit to each and that's why I have way more people then I wanted

    NYGirl I totally agree 3 weeks before the wedding we went to the shore for the day and hung out with our friends. They were shocked we weren't running. I actually got to enjoy my summer. The month before however was nuts so don't get me wrong it happens but it was other people and their procrastination that did it.
