lots of checks this weekend!!

I did a lot this weekend, well more like wrote a lot of checks :)I payed off our honeymoon-paid Ken Stillman-gave more money to Adelphias-and went for my 1st dress fitting with Yeon.  She was great to work with and my alterations are costing $270 which is more then I expected but my dress was really big on me and had to be taken in a lot and my bustle was complicated, and it was still ALOT cheaper then what Bridal Garden would of charged me.As much as I hate writing out the big checks it's nice to have less $ to owe :)

Can you post the name and number of the lady that did your alterations.  We have the same dress.  Also, do you have any pics of your bustle? Thanks!

Here name is Yeon and she was from Fashion Stitch (you can google it, I don't have the # on me)...I don't have any picts  of my bustle yet.  I tried the french bustle but it looked funny on the dress so we ended up doing some hook and eyes that bring the train up too look like the front of the dress.I do have picts of the bustle from another girl who wore the dress and I just posted them in my bio under "my dress"When's your wedding?

Congrats on the checks! I know the alterations were more then you expected but it is so much cheaper than what Priscilla quoted me. I know with them a lot of times its just because of their name. I am considering using fashion stitch as well. That's great that you were able to pay a lot off!
