Florists?

I am getting married in Stone Harbor and I am looking for a florist. I have a couple meetings on Friday with An Enchanting Florist, Mums the Word, and Maries's Flower Shop. Did any of you use any of them or have any other suggestions? I am looking for a florist that will be able to give me the style I want without totally breaking the bank. I have gone over budget on everything so far so I am really trying to save on flowers.

Sorry I just saw that someone just recently posted about flowers but I am a little more south so I don't think many of those florists would travel so far. Also I didn't realize that the "Mums the Word" that you girls always talk about was in Marlton. There is also one in Wildwood. Are they they same company?

I used Marie's Flower Shop in Wildwood. I had my own vases and Sharon agreed to use them with no problem. They were easy to work with and the flowers were just what I asked. GL!

I used Branches Florist, Brandy who owns the company just started own her own. She used to work at Bravo and some other places in the city. I know she travels to Delaware not sure about the shore areas. She is amazing and is totally hooking me up! I have 3 different type of centerpieces, yes 3 all for about 24 tables, I have 7 BM and 1 FG etc. I am getting all of this for a very very reasonable price and she was really good at subsituting the flowers that I liked (real expensive) to ones that looked pretty much the same but are cheaper. Her number and email is: Brandy Hurff 609-413-4371 brandymatt04@comcast.net HTH

I used Shelly's Floral Designs, out of Smithville.  She works out of her home, so her prices tend to be better than most, since she has almost no overhead costs.  I gave her pictures of the bouquets I wanted, and she was able to give me exactly what I wanted.  Plus, on the day of, she couldn't remember if I wanted a tossing bouquet (I didn't) so she made one anyway just in case.  I really loved working with her.  Shelly's Floral DesignsShelly Spier355 Clarks Landing Rd.Port Republic, NJ 08241(609) 652-6348Prairiemom_1@comcast.netI don't have my pro pics yet, but I can send you some if you want when I get them.  HTH!Oh, also, I don't know how budget friendly they are, but Manic Botanik in Ocean City did my friend's flowers for ehr wedding this past June.  Everything was amazing!  They are pretty busy, and I know some people say they have a tough time getting a hold of them.  My friend said they were fine, but they weren't the type of vendor that would be emailing you every so often to see how you were doing...  Her florals were fantastic.

I'm using Mum's the Word in Marlton and I absolutely love Maria.  She is so sweet and always keeps in touch.  I also love what she came up with for my flowers since I had no idea what to do

I used vases my sister used at her wedding, so it was cheaper for me. I'm not sure how much more it is to use their vases. Our total flower costs for 6 bouquets & 6 bouts, 12 centerpieces, 2 alter arrangements, and all the parents corsages was about $1,400. However I used orchids for the centerpieces and bouquets, so of course using cheaper flowers would cut that down quite a bit. GL!

I'm using The Enchanted Florist in Tuckahoe...Not sure if that is who you are asking about. We are really happy with them, Pat did a demo for us and the flowers are exactly what I wanted. Let me know if you want more information.

I am also getting married in Stone Harbor.  I just met with Coventry Crossing, in Stone Harbor, they were very nice and very helpful staying with my budget. I have a 8 bridesmaids and 9 groomsman.  I am making half of the centerpieces myself that are vases with a candle, sand and shells and then having the other half to the tables with flowers.  We're planning on about 20-22 tables.  I don't know what flowers are really supposed to cost, but they were easy to work with and had good reviews for beach ceremonies and rent beach wedding supplies if you are getting married on the beach.
