Hi Ladies, I am in photographer hell. Okay heres the deal, I have contacted all of these people : Alison Conklin, Diana Dibezi, Jenn Childress, Spark photography, Kamilla Harris, RHM, Cindy Patrick, Sarah Schulte. They were all amongst my top choices. Sadly, they are all booked for me 09-25-10 wedding. I am now looking at Laura Eaton, Melissa Chinici, Kella Macphee ( as top contenders) but basically I am emailing every single photographer I've come across. Our budget is 6000 total (if this helps). Can anyone make any personal recs. I really hate contacting people without knowing someone who really liked them. And honestly this is starting to get to me. Thanks for all your help! --Chrissy

We're using Meyer Photography and have nothing but great things to say about them and found them based on a few recommendations as well. Try Candid Moments, Intrigue, Silver Image (we were between them and Meyer) and Mark Anthony, they all do nice work.

Chrissy,Try Intrigue Photography in Haddonfield.  I am working with Jeff Anderson and he has been awesome!  I met with a few you mentioned and liked his style & packages better, it was nice to meet him in his studio too rather than a photographer lugging all the albums to a mutual location.  He truly loves to take pictures and is not in it for the business.  You will not be disappointed, hopefully he has your date!!!www.intriguephoto.comJen

We are using AlimarioPhoto we didn't love the pictures on his site but when we met with him and saw his style and personalty we knew he was the one. We just had our engagement session with him 2 weeks ago and the pictures came out amazing! We are so excited to use him

Cindy Guessford was recommended to us by Cindy Patrick (who was booked for ours too).  We love love love her, and you can get an awesome package for under $6K. Good luck.

I second Cindy Guessford and also suggest Ryan Estes and Mike Landis. I'm using Alison Conklin, but a friend is using Cindy for her wedding in a few weeks. Her epics came out amazing! I have no personal experience with Ryan or Mike other than I really like their work. Photogs book up incredibly fast - I booked Alison the day after I booked my reception (17 months before our wedding). GL with your search!

I got married last summer and used Jean & Steve Photography for a little over half your budget. That included-2 photogs all day-1 of them had a more traditional style and the other was photojournalistic (I love his shots because I didn't even realize he was there)-2 proof albums including about 400+ pics plus all of my proofs were online -our album which I love-2 parent albums-Thank you wallets-some 8x10s, 5x7s, and an 11x16At first I was nervous because I never heard about them on here, good or bad but we were very pleased with our results.

I just visited Foschi Photography in Wilmington, DE today to check out their albums and was very happy with what I saw. They have multiple packages, reasonably priced, and are willing to work with you on customizing a package for your needs. I am getting married in NJ and they are willing to travel. I actually booked Cindy Patrick for mine, but I was also OBSESSED with Tyler Boye and it looks like no one has even mentioned him and I don't know why. He was booked for our date or else we would have gone with him in a heartbeat! He shoots red carpet and celebrity weddings too. He has also shot for W mag, Star, Instyle, Bazaar... We're using David Humphrey and he's been great so far.  Our package is $1400 and we get 8 hours all proofs and rights to our pics.  He has a lot of packages and will customize.

Hi Chrissy, My photographer is Jenn Childress...I'm sorry she is booked for your day.  Since becoming engaged I have developed a bizarre obsession with wedding photographer websites and I really like Joy Moody.  Have you tried her?  I don't have any personal experience with her but I love what I see on her website and she seems to have an excellent reputation.Good Luck!!!! Oh, I would also ask the photogs you like that are booked if they have any recommendations, they all seem to travel in circles with each other.

I'm using David Humphrey. We met with him last night and he is SOOO nice. The pictures that he showed us the other night were beautiful! We also really liked his digital albums. I am using Nina Bishop Photography. That's a healthy budget. If you have that kind of budget, there's no reason to go for a low end photog.I used Candid Moments. I'd also recommend Andy Todes. You might want to post this on the Philly board. You'll get great recs there, too.

We used Jordan Brian Photography for our wedding.  He's out of Mt. Laurel.I used Medina Photography for my TTD pics.I've heard that Melissa Chinici is great too.

I was just going to post about Jordan Brian and saw that someone already did!  I never hear about him on here, but think his pics are fantastic!  He came highly recommended by our videographer, but was a little out of my price range.
