Bartering

Does anyone know of a photographer, DJ, Florist or hair stylist willing to barter services for massage therapy?

lol Sara Well I do give awsome massages, and my clients so far have stuck with me for over ten years. Of course I would like to barter several hours in exchange for discounts on services.

I don't have any suggestions; I think your best bet would probably be to (a) make a post on Craigslist, though be prepared to get a lot of not-so-serious responses, and (b) to actually call up vendors and see what they say.  Maybe even going to their locations in person to see if it's something you could 'sell' while meeting them.

Craigslist is probably a good place to start.  Like Lala said, though, get ready to sort through the responses from bored crazies with the serious replies. It's not a completely ridiculous idea.  I used to work for an attorney who bartered all the time with her clients to knock money off their bills.  Some people are just more receptive to it than others.  (For example, she had her hair done, got the office painted, odd jobs around the office/her house, car repairs, etc.)
