Beach Theme Shower

Hi ladies! I'm in my cousins wedding in November and we decided on a beach themed shower. It's a co-ed shower that will be held at Katmandu. I know several of you are having beach weddings. I'm looking to get some ideas for decorations and favors. I've been checking some of the party stores and a lot seemed more geared towards a luau theme.

I think sand, shells, aqua/baby blue colors, umbrellas, seagulls (lol), boats, lifeguard stands etc.

You could do boardwalk themed foods (taffy, fudge, popcorn, funnel cake, cotton candy), centerpieces made of sand and shells, bikini and board short decorations... is this all corney?

No thank you! That's very helpful I really like the boardwalk food. We might even be able to do something like that as a favor.

For my beach wedding (not luau themed) we really wanted to stick to the seashore/boardwalk theme.  As decor, I am using lanterns and starfish and sandollars.  Colors are white and turquoise.  Our favors are small pails with Shriver's salt water taffy.  You might want to do something like that... maybe some hand-painted wooden signs...

    I got cheap lanterns here:

Shells from here: (cheapest I could find)
    shellhorizons.com

Good luck, let me know if you have any questions!
