Venue Ideas in/around Seaside Park?

Hello, I live in NNJ but FI and I are considering getting married in Seaside Park. We have a lot of happy memories there and he has been vacationing down there with his family since he was a toddler.

Anyway, we came up with a fun idea of having a ceremony on the beach (BYOB - bring your own blanket) and then having a casual dinner reception in the banquet hall at the Saw Mill Cafe (it's upstairs, with an ocean view and the website's pictures are great). Then we figure everyone could enjoy the fun of the boardwalk afterwards.

But I am not very familiar with that area, and if there are better options, or maybe something I am not thinking of, I would love some feedback. We would like to cut down on costs, so we are not looking to do a full-on reception, just dinner. Thank you!
