New Jersey - South

need vendor recommendations :)

Our wedding is October 22nd and we are still in the planning process...trying to plan a wedding in 5 months has been a fun challenge :)  To really test me I am trying to do it remotely!  I currently live in VA and am planning a wedding in South Jersey.  Our ceremony and reception will take place at The Mansion in Voorhees.  I need vendor recommendations :)

I have the venue, dress ordered, and a photographer...still trying to nail down everything else!

We are having a night wedding, very intimate, small - close family and friends probably around 50 or so guests.  Any recommendations for the following.....

Music - this is an area we are having a lot of difficulty.  We don't want a traditional DJ, but want some sort of music.

Officiant - need one of these!

Hair / Make-up -

Transportation - want to provide a bus limo type thing so guests don't have to drive back to hotel

And any other recommendations for areas I am missing :)

Suggestions and recommendations are MUCH appreciated!!  THANK YOU!!!

For our officiant we are using Bryant Heisinger.  His website is called the Marriage Man.

Try the Hillman bus company. It's a school bus, but it's cheap. It's only $195 to pick up your guest and bring them to the venue and then a drop off back to the hotel afterwards. I'm using DJ Your Way with Chris is about an hour north of voorhees but he's awesome. He mixes, has an awesome personality, and includes lights for the dance floor.

I'm getting married at the Mansion, and these are my vendors and recs:

Transportation- If you book with the Hampton Inn in Voorhees, you can arrange a shuttle through them.  Its $250 for the night, or free if you get a certain # of rooms booked.

DJ - DJ's Available.  Our DJ is Joe Moser.  They have about a dozen different DJ's to choose from, and do showcases for you to see their personality and pick who you want.  If you dont want a DJ period, EBE has some bands that you can look into.  Ask about bands on the Philly board and you may get some more recs.  Someone had dueling pianos at their wedding!

Hair/MU - I'm using Karen Capcino, and she's coming to my hotel to do both.  I also recommend Meghan Cahill and Natalie Pagano for hair.  Cheekadee does makeup at a reasonable price.  I found Bella Angel's prices to be higher than what I was looking for, but they supposedly do good work.

I recommend etsy for any unique jewelry, hair accessories or gifts you may need.  It gets addicting though!

For STDs and Invitations, you can order online through Manget Street or American Wedding.

    Good luck!
