My sister's wedding was here about 5 years ago and my family still talks about how it was one of the best weddings they have ever been to. The food was really good and both the bride and groom and my parents had their own maitre d' to cater to them all night.

My aunt got married there, oh...a good 19 years ago and I hear it was a fantastic wedding (I was 4 and slept through half of it haha).  Anywho, FI mom has picked there to have our rehearsal luncheon and the woman was extremely helpful and I have to say, their food is fantastic.  FI grandmother used to bring us there for Christmas lunch and FI and I ate there the night we got engaged!  It is a beautiful place with a lot of charm, a great staff and fantastic food.

If you're considering there, check out the months that have the discount, cause you get a great deal on their packages.

We are getting married there in July!  So far the staff has been great and the tasting was yummy.  Our biggest thing was we wanted to get married outside.  We looked around at many places in the area (Carriage House, Smithville, Greate Bay CC, even English Manor) and Ram's Head definitely offers the most for your money.  I even made a spreadsheet to compare them all when we were looking! LOL

    Thanks for the input!

Kartygrl - We are thinking of getting married there next July!  The only part that I am afraid of is I was told it takes 2.5 hrs to get through sit-down dinner.  Are you doing sit-down or buffet?  I guess if we have a good dj that can keep things moving in between courses it won't be bad.  But that is my only hesitation.

shreavbf - We are doing a sit-down dinner, I hope it doesn't take 2.5 hours!  I think I heard 20-30 mins per course.  We just went to a friend's wedding with a sit-down dinner and everyone was getting up and dancing between courses.  Maybe what you heard was including the cocktail hour?

Kartygrl - I think we are going to reserve the date today at the Ram's Head.  I will ask again and let you know.  Thanks for your input and I can't wait to hear all about your July wedding since that will be the same month as ours!
