bachlorette party

I have no clue what to do for mine. I know the date of it but I have no clue what I want to do and I know my girls want to know specificially what I want. I don't get why I have to decide when I have so many others things to think about. Isin't that a bridal party duty. I klnow that I don't want strippers and I do want to have a nice dinner at a decent resturant. If anyone has any suggestions/thoughts as to what might sound fun, please let me know.

I'm not trying to be mean but I don't really think its a "BP duty". It's up to your BP to throw a bride a bachelorette party or a shower etc no one said they have too. They are probably asking you for ideas so they make sure they are giving you something that you would enjoy. As you said you don't want strippers, wouldn't you have been mad if they never asked you and planned to have one show up? Some suggestions would be AC, NYC, Philly, spa day, sleep over, or a dance class.

I agree with what you are saying and I'm not trying to be difficult. I appreciate EVERYTHING my girls have done for me so far and they do not have to do the things they are doing. I guess I'm starting to get stressed because we are in the final stages of EVERYTHING with still so much to do and I don't want to have to think about anything else. You know because you have been there. Thanks for your input.

My MOH is planning mine for the 28th.  Going to Philly to eat at the Melting Pot and see the male revue at The Cave and then spend the night at a hotel.  I can't wait!

We are heading down to Wildwood for the weekend.  Going out for a nice dinner then heading out to the bars in North Wildwood.

we are having a joint bachelor/bachelorette party...we are "older" (in our mid to late 30's) and really dont need "our last hoorah"....We are going to dave and busters....and our bridal party will pick us up and bring us home....cant wait it is going to be so much fun!!

We were going to do AC, but then my MOH suggested Philly, and I was fine with that, so Philly it is.

Camper:  I'm in my late 30s too (38!), but wanted a "last hoorah" with the girls anyway.  Age has nothing to do with what you want.

Mine is next weekend....so excited.  I just found out that we'll be cruising to the Bahamas for 4 days.  I was worried about what me and my girls were going to be doing.  I just turned 30 and am really not into the strippers and clubs.  Although Kelly, I am sure whatever you girls end up doing you'll have fun because its really not about what you're doing as much as its about the people you're surrounded by.
